We’ve already driven the Porsche Panamera GTS in Europe, in a track, but have not had the chance to talk about this car after driving on the roads of the United States yet. I drove a couple of variations as the five-door Panamera was introduced in 2010, but this all-wheel-drive variant GTS Carmine Red is my favorite so far. Striking the right balance of power and balance with its incredibly well-ordered suspension (10 mm lower ride the GTS unless models and comes standard with air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management). The naturally aspirated V8 makes a great noise, and with 430 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque, and has a lot of motivation but in reality it feels absurdly overpowered. Continue reading →
