2013 Chevrolet Traverse: New York 2012

General Motors has just unveiled its restyled 2013 Chevrolet Traverse at the New York Auto Show today. The crossover has abandoned large grid company’s business in favor of a new design that is expected to finally make its way to the rest of the stables Chevrolet Utility Vehicle. With three bar chrome grille through the upper inlet, and a more expressive headlights array Foglight new design, the 2013 Traverse seems a bit ‘more conservative than it did before and shiny, at least from the front. Moving beyond the pillar, however, and the vehicle seems very familiar. Even a new hatchback, redesigned taillamps and a rear valance modestly massaged, the 2013 Traverse has not strayed far from his family-minded original recipe. Continue reading

GM to recall select full-size SUVs and vans over steering issue

Recalls were issued for four years 2012-model General Motors from products steering problems. The Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon XL and Savana and Express may suffer pitman wells that were not properly hardened, which could lead to a fracture and a loss of steering. There were 6,159 vehicles involved in the recall. Continue reading

Opel to debut engines developed with SAIC at the Paris Motor Show

The Risen opel / Vauxhall Junior should be submitted to the Paris Motor Show later this year with a three-cylinder engine hidden in his engine compartment. General Motors is recalling model year 2012 Buick Regal sedan, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, “does not meet the requirements of the Federal motor vehicle safety standard number 108:. Lamps, reflective devices and associated equipment” in particular (and in layman’s terms), means that the Regal parking lamps may be defective. Continue reading
