As we already reported, Subaru is showing up at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show today with its TSI GT Concept. The Japanese automaker has already released the official images and new information we thought we’d share before the car is unveiled live in Los Angeles during the day.

The TSI GT Concept is very similar to the FR-S slinky Scion concept we’ve seen, even if the hardware version of the Pleiades packets go faster than its Toyota brethren. Together with a TSI-developed front fascia and splitter, the GT wears a roof made of carbon fiber to reduce weight and lower his center of gravity. A 2.0-liter Subaru boxer four-cylinder is located under the hood, although there are no output data have been offered as of yet. Subaru says the engine is equipped with a direct injection system borrowed from Toyota, the TSI GT Concept should be as efficient as it is powerful.
