Honda has announced plans to take part in the Dakar Rally in January 2013, with a special bike works team. It’s been 23 years since Honda took part in the event banner loading, back when it took place in Europe and Africa and has sailed under the Paris-Dakar. Between 1981 and 1989, Honda walked away with the five-time gold, but not much has touched a grain of sand on the new course that extends from Peru to Chile and Argentina. HRC team is out to change that with its new four-rider team.
