Ford has unveiled the production version of its crossover EcoSport at Beijing Motor Show 2012. The small five-door utility should offer buyers a lot of features into a compact package, and efficient thanks to a range of configurations including a drive motor 1.0 liter, three-cylinder EcoBoost. The small displacement of the engine is good for 118 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque, which should be more than enough to move around the small car. All in all, Ford says the EcoSport will see duty in over 100 markets worldwide, even if the CUV is not expected to show up in our neck of the woods.
The Titanium EcoSport is currently on display in Beijing, complete with 16-inch wheels and chrome grille mass. All models are equipped with Ford’s Sync voice control, smart keyless entry and remote start and are also available. As expected, the crossover comes with cargo security technology, including dual front airbags and side curtain.
