Factory tuning house Mugen has taken it upon himself to cure what ails the Honda CR-Z. The centerpiece of the Honda CR-Z Mugen RZ is a specially developed compressor, which bumps output 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine to 153 horsepower. E ‘a thrust of 30 horses over the series hybrid, even if the integrated motor sedan assistance system ensures quiet extra 20 horsepower in case of need. Mugen thus thrown into a titanium exhaust system cat-back to help the engine breathe a little ‘easier. The company traded components photographic suspension for five-way adjustable coilovers, and the braking system received a complete overhaul as well. Continue reading
Volkswagen has drastically cut its internal sales goal for Western Europe for 2012. The estimate was cut by 140,000 vehicles according to Automotive News. In the report, Bernd Osterloh VW German newspaper Handelsblatt is quoted saying, “The Volkswagen Group is tentatively sell more cars this year than last year. Ford has just had a great success with his last three rows iteration of the Explorer SUV, with buyers find a tool to assist suitably good for the job request from family life. And while I’ve never found the naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 that inhabits the engine bay to be nothing less than well suited to this large SUV / CUV class – it was not long ago that a 290 horsepower, 24 miles to gallon highway six-cylinder would have seemed like a real tough guy – has never been an engine particularly exciting, either.
