China issues list of approved vehicles for government purchase, excludes imports for first time

A black, Chinese-market Audi A6L is practically the poster-child for the Communist Party officials who want more legroom for rear legroom in a stretched version of the standard sedan. The Chinese government reportedly spends, 80 million yuan (12.7 million dollars) a year on its wheels for the bureaucrats, but according to a report in China Car times has limited the new list of cars available for authorized officials to Chinese models.
