Scion iQ-MR by Tatsu
Scion is headed to SEMA 2011 with a total of seven concept cars developed by some of the most creative customizers around. Cartel, Dynamic, 686, Michael Chang, Jon Sibal, and turned their attention towards the ladder are all Tatsu car manufacturer, and the results are different, as the shops that built them. The most recent addition to the Scion team, the small iQ seems to have received the most attention this year, with a total of four iQ concept headed for the sands of Las Vegas. First Drive: Ferrari California
CAR Magazine reports that Ferrari is planning to give an update of a 2012 California light. The update starts with an additional 30 horsepower 4.3-liter V8, bumping the final figure to 483 hp thanks to revised engine mapping and improved innards. It is worth noting that the extra pep is available only when the tank is topped with 98 octane fuel, even if the host ECU 95 octane as well. Continue reading
Toyota Yaris B-Spec Club Racer
Toyota is bringing arsenal of customized vehicles for SEMA 2011, including three pickups and a very cold Yaris B-Spec Racer. The pint-sized boxer is based on the 2012 Yaris and SE, wings should be hit with the rest of the SCCA Spec B-class contenders soon. Toyota says that Jamie Bestwick, BMX fame, will campaign the car in the SCCA National Championship at Road America in Elkhart runoff, Wisconsin. The car has all the necessary hardware to meet specifications, including SCCA eight-point roll cage, fire suppression system, race seat, and six points of attack. Continue reading
